Eğitim Hakkında
This course examines how global media shapes public perception through language, framing, and institutional power, with a focus on how stories are selected, structured, and controlled. It critically addresses issues such as editorial bias, parachute journalism, funding inequalities, and the myth of objectivity, particularly in relation to the representation of the Global South. The course introduces the idea of “decolonizing the media” as a shift toward more balanced narrative authority, stronger local voices, and greater audience awareness in media consumption.
